We are manufacturers of portable systems for DirecTV high-definition television service. Our mission is to take these fixed systems and make them portable, safe and reliable for RVers, constructions workers, disaster relief personnel, and anyone else that spends a lot of time on the road or in remote areas.

We currently do not provide the antenna, receiver or service for DirecTV. Our goal is to allow you to take that equipment and service you already have . . . or plan to purchase . . . allow you to find the high-definition signal on all five satellites within 2 minutes . . . and provide a stable, wind resistant base that makes your equipment reliable in all weather conditions. If you have experienced frustration in the past trying to travel with your HD equipment . . . or are brand new to travel and looking for an easy solution . . . we present the HD PortaKIT.

Which DirecTV solution fits you?

If you are new to Hi-Def TV, after you receive our HD PortaKit, call DirecTV. The installer will set up service and mount the antenna right on our PortaKit. Currently installation directly from DirecTV is free.

You already have HD DirecTV service at your home but want a portable unit for travel. After you order the HD PortaKit, go online and purchase the Slimline antenna. Here are some links to merchants that sell this antenna. Order the antenna that looks like the one on your house. Braces are not necessary, so don't pay extra for those.

You already have HD DirecTV service and want to travel long-term. Simply remove your Slimline antenna from its permanent mount and remount it on the HD PortaKit. Assembly instructions included.

Signal Meter: To make it even easier, we include the SatBeeper that provides a signal tone at the dish directly to your ear plug. Set the coordinates, listen for the highest pitch, you're done. No expensive signal finders necessary.

Tool-free: No tools to mess with, just easily adjustable knobs. We even provide a place to keep those knobs when storing the equipment, so everything stays together and speeds up the setup/take down process.

Easy to Store: When you are ready to travel, dismount your DirecTV Dish, LNB head, Mount, and Tripod. Four separate pieces that can be stored in any compartment, back of your truck, or in your towed vehicle.

New to DirecTV: After receiving your HD PortaKit, call DirecTV and have them send out an installer with the free HD equipment. The installer is happy to set up the equipment right on our kit.

If you don't have time to wait for an installer you can also buy the receiver and antenna from online DirecTV dealers. Unfortunately most local retailers, such as Wal-Mart and BestBuy don't carry the antenna, but may carry the HD receiver. Call them first to verify that they carry the Slimline antenna.
